anyone else found it weird he was non-existance in season 2 especially to the bratz? and why did they not make cloe and him progress!!! or atleast an explanation and closure like a break-up episode or like a little flashback of what done it for cloe when someone asks why they aren't close with him anymore! like they get us invested in their relationship and then it's like that side story and character never existed! i know there was a flashback episode where they were like "he liked his bike too much" but that is so vague!!!!!
what are your theories? was this explained somewhere? does someone share these similar feelings with me? i need closure!!!
Curious too. I wonder if it might have anything to do with paying the voice actor? Can someone please answer this asdfgdfhfs
it started after hanging out with Nicole in paris, but they were teasing the idea that he was still infatuated with cloe! then after was genie magic the movie which he was barely in too! cloe might have been so hurt by what had happen in paris but still no closure for the veiwers, it might have something to do with the voice actor because that's literally the only logical explanation. we really need answers!
I know this was a long time ago but...
There was a lot wrong with season 2. For one the voice actors were different. Without the original, the show just wasn't the same. All of the Bratz and other characters sounded younger, especially Cloe. Second, the show became more kiddy. We all know that sometimes Bratz used many tropes but it was still made to be entertaining. The show's main focus went from running a teen magazine to learning life lessons? The first season also taught lessons of course but it was centered in a way that still spoke to the original of the show: fashion! And it was presented as for teenagers and not kids like? Lastly, I agree, that it was frustrating how the relationships between Cloe and Cameron never furthered. They never confessed or dated. It was the same with Yasmin and Eitan. And I would have liked to see Dylan with Sasha or Jade. It didn't even have to be dating, I just wanted to see their romances blossom some more! Now the second season is a lot more action-packed and some of the episodes are funny. Overall, this is just my opinion, and if you disagree that is okay. But personally, MGA could have done better. So much better.
i rewatched both seasons and realised he wasn't in much of season one too omg
but yea i agree, obviously the budget went down because season 1 had well known actors voicing the bratz characters, especially with the twevils and burdine till season 2 and the scenes were much cleaner and not covered in reusable models which started in the forever diamonds movie
yea! season 1 life lessons were like "show dont tell" and then season 2 was all "tell rather than show" over something really shallow like it was showcasing to kids and that's what made it less memorable, season 1 didnt try so hard, season 2 tried so hard to be random and it at some point got annoying, it was funny but you could definitely tell they were trying very hard
even with the bratz babyz movies, the first one had political undertones and was written in a way where it made sense and that's what made it enjoyable to watch where as the others were just messy and random
it would of been heaps better if they didnt reset every episode! because the rock angel movie pursued and even hinted that cloe and cameron, yasmine and eitan were going to date in the future yet they completely cut that out after an episode finally showcasing it!
it'd be so interesting to see some nice relationship type moments or like make it clear why they dont want a relationship with them
speaking of dylan dating sasha, in the paris special dylan was shown going and then he disappears, apparently the guy sasha was dating, cruz, was dylan in disguise cause cruz is the same model as dylan's camp doll! and it'd be so cool if they had a story for that like they all question where dylan is and if cruz is him whether it is him or not! and they made the whole sasha and cruz thing serious and didnt pursue it in season 2
season 2 should of just answered some questions about season one, given the characters more depth, pursued with storylines they started and kept it the way it was for their teen audiences because it was just messy, voice change or not
when they took a break and then made desert jewels (one of my favourites) which actually answered questions and unlocked a lot of info related to the first movie (genie magic) rather than making it all random and shallow, despite the voice changes, it was clear they were capable of doing all those things listed (should of answered the question of how Alia met "professor" Cherlot but that's tiny) but they didn't and that's why the season isn't as good
MGA could of yes and they were capable of doing that but they didn't!
@Annalyse Karim You're completely right! I thought I was the only one lol.
