2023 Bratz Dolls Thread (News and Discussion)

9/14/23: From Dom: Isaac Larian has posted a sneak peek of upcoming Mini Bratz releases. In the showroom display, there are sneak peeks at mini versions of Princess (including the Wicked Twiins), Live In Concert (plus the Cruiser playset), Treasures!, Series 3, more Tokyo A Go-Go (plus the Cruiser playset), more Funky Fashion Makeover, Formal Funk, the Pretty ‘N’ Punk Phone Booth playset, Flashback Fever (including the FM Party Bus playset), more Slumber Party, and more Bratz x Kylie collectibles (dolls, more playsets including a vanity and swing chair, and more accessories). There are no expected release dates for any of these Mini Bratz, but will likely come out within the next year.

It also appears that one of the upcoming series will come with an updated green capsule, and a case display will hold a full set of a series.

9/8/23: The official Bratz Instagram page has asked fans what celebrity they should turn into a Bratz doll (and mini 🥱) next. Who did y'all put?

Personally I don't think there's anyone in real life who 100% fits Bratz's vibe and if they can't find someone who is, then they shouldn't do a celeb doll at all. I think there are other important things for the brand to worry about rather than a celebrity doll.

Also someone made a point how MGA probably already has their next celebrity collab ready to go and that this is just a "rigged" poll to hype up fans.

@/godisabratz has shared a picture of upcoming budget reissue of the 2021 20 Yearz Special Edition (or Series 1) Jade!

8/30/23: @/toyboy.world has shared stock pictures of the Mini Bratz Collector’s Case, retailing at $29.99, it holds up to 60 Mini Bratz and exclusively comes with mini Pretty ‘N’ Punk Sasha.

Also, a Mini Bratz Special Edition two-pack with Holiday Felicia and the Tweevils is expected to release this Fall.

8/22/23: @/housofmaus has shared stock pictures of new Bratz 2-Pack sets which repackages the 2021 20 Yearz Special Edition/Series 1 dolls.

Lookin' Bratz has also shared that there will be NO “collector” edition, and that BOTH regular-sized Kylie dolls will retail for $29.99 USD!

7/23/23: Lookin' Bratz has exclusively shared the official stock pictures of the upcoming “Final Look” of the Kylie x Bratz Minis! The packaging that was found yesterday is the “Getting Ready” packaging that will hit stores first, while the “Final Look” packaging will hit stores soon after.

Each capsule comes with a mini Kylie x Bratz doll and accessory (a cruiser in 1 of 3 colors, Kylie’s dog Norman, a lip phone in 1 of 3 colors, velvet rope, or a cap to go with Kylie’s Met Gala 2022 look).

I'm screaming. The way I think the Bratz team sent him to post this to mollify or ease the reactions and uproar from yesterday's atrocious finding.

7/22/23: The Kylie Jenner X Bratz Miniverse collaboration has been found at Target by @nowyouusuck on Reddit.

The Miniverse Series 1 will be $9.99 USD with 14 total minis.

@lookinbratz has shared that there will be a box design change in later batches of the minis.

There will also be 2 regular-sized Kylie dolls. One is listed as "Day Look" costing $29.99 USD, and the other is "Night Look" for $79.99 USD.

There'll also be a big Bratz Kylie doll (24'') for $99.99 USD.

In the last screenshot, Twitter user @/classcioe (who got the GNO dolls before they were released) claims that one of the Kylie dolls they've seen will indeed look like the one in the picture (that picture is an EDIT used as an example from the Bratz page and not the actual doll). The announcement for the Kylie x Bratz collab is expected to come on August 1st.

7/14/23: @/sweettsnap has shared Italian descriptions of the upcoming Kylie doll. For legal concerns I've posted the screenshots (including the English translation) in the 2023 News Group which is currently private.

7/12/2023: @/bratztheworld has shared images of the shoe pack that was scheduled for this fall. It is still not guaranteed whether the shoe pack is cancelled or not. The left are Princess heels on Series 2 Kiana while the right are Feelin' Pretty heels on Yasmin. It is uncertain if the shoes were 100% for them since the left shoes also matched PNP Sasha.

6/18/2023: 20 years after it’s original release, stock photos of the 2023 Funky Fashion Furniture Retro-Swing Chair repro is here which will cost $24.99 USD and no there is no Amazon link yet! We also see Series 3 Dana and Fianna. The back of the box also has Fianna with a headband that is not in the final product and different jeans. This repro will not have any of the accessories the original came with in 2003.

6/17/2023: A listing for a Bratz Babyz Cloe doll has been found in Target’s inventory system. The official Bratz Instagram page asked fans to vote in a poll if they wanted a Bratz Babyz reboot earlier this year and have teased it a few times in several IG posts since. It is currently unknown if these will be new designs or reproductions of the original Babyz. The release date is unknown and there are no links to the listing. They will retail for $12.99 USD according to Target (Credits to Lookin' Bratz).

6/16/2023: After months of pathetic rumors, lies, and bad leaks the official Bratz Instagram page has finally shared a proper photo of PNP Sasha!

6/13/2023: @/dieguyi on Instagram went to the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas and Bratz seemed to have a large presence at the MGA booth with more pictures of their brand-new artwork (with different poses) making an appearance! 6/9/2023: Pretty ‘N’ Punk Sasha was found on the back of Mini Bratz Series 2 PNP Meygan’s box! Gracjan Pleskaczewski also found a high quality version of the photo on TikTok in which some new account leaked it then removed the video afterward. Could the person who leaked it be an MGA worker?

Isaac Larian has now confirmed on LinkedIn that a special announcement for the Bratz brand will be coming on August 1st. Dom's theory is that they will announce the Bratz x Kylie Jenner celebrity doll collab but anything is possible!

6/6/2023: Brazilian creator @/filipedmb received a PR package from MGA Entertainment’s Brazilian (?) offices. The dolls he received were Collector 2018 dolls, likely leftover stock that the company had. It came with a note from the company featuring never-before-seen artwork of the core four Bratz girls. The theory is that this may be concept art (not made for any dolls) or it could be for new dolls but who knows.

6/5/2023: Spain based makeup brand Krash Kosmetics has announced their official Pretty ‘N’ Punk themed makeup collab line with Bratz. We get to see PNP Sasha's artwork in full and new artwork featuring Roxxi and Nevra (they won't be made into dolls, their artwork is exclusively for this line).
